Feast and third edition
In March 2008 several reasons for organizing a party came together and we decided to use this opportunity for fund-raising for the benefit of Bizoagor. Parne Gadje took care of the music and donated its complete fee to the project. Also the caterer contributed and all guests donated to Bizoagor. A few pictures show the cheerful atmosphere and the information stand at the party. Guest of honour was our Macedonian counterpart Sevgjul Abdula.
The result was a considerable sum of money, enough to print another 700 copies of “Numai o lil si amaro amal”. Already two weeks later 400 of these were delivered at the school in Tetovo (Macedonia), whose request we had not yet been able to fulfil and where, untill now, fotocopies of the book were used. The other 300 are kept in stock.
Furthermore Bizoagor subsidized the festival for the 8th of April organized in Šutka by Kham Sijan, especially the children’s programme. The remainder of the gifts is kept in reserve.
In Januari Gjunler and Parne Gadje, together and separately, took part in a concert, “La Nuit Zigane”, in Paradiso (Amsterdam) were the composer brought together many groups and persons from The Netherlands and elsewhere, all performing Roma- or related music. All music played at the concert formed a more or less continuous composition, complemented by recited text and film/video images.
The second schoolbook, announced already in March, has been realized. Its title is: Numaj o lil si amaro amal 2 - I paramis thai o teatar ko Romano đjivdipe (The book is our friend 2 - Stories and theatre in Roma life). 2000 copies have been distributed in the two Šutka schools. In addition to Sevgul Abdula, a few of his co-authors were present at that occasion.

At the end of 2008, 50 copies of Part 1 of “Numaj o lil si amaro amal” have been given to the two primary schools in Šutka, in order to replenish their stock. The remainder of our reserve has been given to the Roma refugee children, who came to Macedonia from Kosovo.
